I remember those from when I first wanted to smoke cigars, partly because I loved the smell of a cigar.
I bought a pack of those and was really dissapointed. They didn’t smell anything like a real cigar. I hadn’t learned to smoke cigarettes yet and didn’t inhale, so I didn’t enjoy those at all.

Unfortunately, yes. I just got a pack and they taste like burnt hair and paper.
I usally smoke Djarum cloves, so going to these to save a few bucks was a big mistake… they’re AWFUL.

What about the Muriel cigar add Susan anton did with Tom Selleck that they would always show on the NFL Today/in my opinion it was the sexiet commercial I have ever seen.

These ads originally appeared during the 1972-’73 season, and used Santana’s “Evil Ways” as its jingle (which wouldn’t be the last time a classic rock song was used for “profitable purposes”).

Damn–this shit give me the willies in a bad bad way. Watch out for people who smoke these things–they look to be pedophiles who are on something a whole lot stronger than tobacco. Also, the idea that smoking this nasty shit will make you sexy enough to be an asshole with impunity–just hilarious.

This ad is most interesting, primarily because it came out shortly after *cigarette* advertising had been *banned* in the US. But Winchester is not a *cigarette*, but a “whole ‘nother smoke” . . .
